MEDFORD, Ore. – Southern Oregon Climate Action Now (SOCAN) hopes to inspire action in the fight against climate change during its Tuesday night meeting at the Medford Library.
Titled, “Daunted by Climate Concern? Let’s Explore Our Options for Action,” the community meeting aims to address the common challenges individuals face while fighting climate change. While recycling, or opting for LED light bulbs is a good first step, the fight against climate change can be overwhelming.
Alan Journet, a co-facilitator with SOCAN, told NewsWatch 12 there are easier ways to help and it starts by choosing something that “brings you joy.”
