The SOCAN Sun
The SOCAN Sun, a Bi-Annual Climate Newspaper
A call for writers, artists, and storytellers.
Purpose: This bi-annual newspaper builds climate understanding and resilience in Southern Oregon through accessible, print-based storytelling. By sharing local experiences, credible information, and creative work, we strengthen climate literacy and counter misinformation in a way that reaches beyond screens and algorithms.
Who Should Contribute: Writers, photographers, artists, scientists, outdoor enthusiasts, and community members. Experienced, or brand new. Authentic voices matter more than perfect grammar or formal structure. Editorial support is available, and your voice will be respected.
