Wine Varietals as an Agricultural Crop in Southern Oregon

Agricultural productivity is determined by three factors that also influence the success of natural ecosystems:  soil, temperature, and climate. An exploration of the future of grape varietals in the region serves as an exemplar for how climate change will influence all agriculture in the region.  These two discussions explore the issue couched in terms of the Applegate Valley and the Rogue Valley.
