The Paris Agreement goal of reducing global emissions of climate pollution may not be perfect, but it’s the best outcome that international negotiations have so far developed. This agreement demonstrates that almost every nation on the planet accepts that global warming is happening and that human emissions of greenhouse gases are the cause. Rarely, if ever, has there been such international unanimity.
