FOLLOW UP On Monday’s email on Trump Admin closing NCAR
Good day, all. This email is a departure from my normal weekly emails in that I’m sharing this link that allows you to easily send a letter to your Senators advocating that they vote against closing the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR).
The link takes you to the Action Network; if you’re already in their database, it will populate your information. If you’re not in their database, you’ll need to sign in.
You’ll then be taken to a page with your Senators’ information and may be asked for information specific to each Senator’s offices. If asked for a general topic of the letter, choose “Environment” or similar topic.
Please personalize the text they offer since a personalized letter is significantly more impactful than a simple form letter. But, if you don’t have time or personal thoughts, still submit your letter since even a form letter is helpful.
So, please use this quick means to tell your Senators to support NCAR – or – if you wish to send along you of your own letter, even better. And, to those who have already submitted letters, thank you for your support of science, the environment, and our future.
