Air Health Our Health: Climate Change, Human Health
Our changing climate affects human health in many ways, sometimes direct and obvious and other times indirect and subtle. Dr. Erika Moseson juggles being an ICU & lung doctor, an active blogger & podcaster advocating for action on human health & climate change, and a mother of three young kids. During COVID, she began recording monthly podcasts that tie these roles together. Her tag line for Air Health Our Health is “Don’t light things on fire (fuels, forests, tobacco, etc) and breath them into your lungs”.

Just this past week, I revisited her podcast from last fall “Clean Air & Climate Change Advocacy for Busy People” on Spotify, and loved her overview of climate change and its role in affecting our health. I especially liked her practical advice on what BUSY people (like her!) can do to help the climate and our health.

So, I encourage you to listen to her podcast linked above, check out her website, subscribe to her podcasts wherever you get your podcasts, share her information with everyone who you care about, and get active in fighting for our health and a healthy planet.
As always, please share with me any actions you have taken or are taking to advance this fight. Now more than ever it will take all of us doing whatever we can to ensure a livable future for generations.
Cheers, Bill
