This may really be the end of the ZOMBIE
SOME CHEERING NEWS! The Zombie Project seems to be dead! Pembina, the Canadian company behind the disastrous Jordan Cove LNG Export Facility and Pacific Connector Pipeline projects has withdrawn its application to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission for approval. It seems that, after some 20 years of resistance to what started as an import proposal and ended as an export proposal, the parent company has thrown in the towel. In their statement to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), Pembina stated: “Applicants have now completed this review and have decided not to move forward with the Project.”
Huge congratulations from SOCAN to all those who have dedicated themselves passionately over the yeas to resisting this berserk project.
