Despite the cancellation, well over 100 people showed their support for science-based polices from the sidewalk in Ashland.
In solidarity with Saturday’s March for Science rally in Washington, D.C., close to 150 people gathered near Garfield Park and waved signs such as “Science is a candle in the dark” and “My children are polio-free” before walking together to a “Scientists Speak Up” event as part of an Earth Day celebration at ScienceWorks.
