Southern Oregon Climate Action Now and Coronavirus (Updated May 21, 2020)

Since SOCAN has no office or employees, we already all ‘work from home,’ we are extremely mindful of the danger of spreading the disease through gatherings at committee and public meetings.

As a result, the SOCAN March and April monthly meetings were cancelled.  The March meeting: ‘Oregon Climate Action: where do we go form here?” was re-scheduled.  It will now occur on May 26th.

We have contracted with ZOOM to undertake virtual meetings from our computers at home to avoid the need for meetings and promoting associated risks.

The Master Climate protector course with class meetings on Monday nights was completed via ZOOM.

We posting changes on the SOCAN Calendar (socan.eco/events) and our Facebook page (SOClimate) as decisions are made. Please contact us directly if you have questions about our events. (Kathy@socan.eco or Alan@socan.eco)
