Oregon poised to ride “green” wave for climate action

In Oregon’s recent election, and across America, voters created a “green wave” for bold action on climate change.

Gov. Kate Brown, who handily won re-election, made climate action a central tenet of her plans. Her bold new climate agenda includes creating a new state agency, the Oregon Climate Authority, to prioritize climate policy and coordinate clean energy programs across agencies.
