Forest mismanagement

On the planetary 24-hour clock, humans have been here little over a minute, each of us individually for just microseconds. Small wonder, then, our memories don’t extend far beyond the 1970s, and we imagine forest fires are becoming more frequent and widespread. Long-term evidence, however, suggests something different.
