Forecasters predict drought to end in Jackson County for first time in nearly 4 years

Despite just enduring one of the hottest summers on record, Jackson County is expected to soon be free of drought for the first time in nearly four years.

According to the National Weather Service, this past summer in Medford was the third-warmest since 1911. At the same time, drought persisted.
