Fall 2017 Master Climate Protector
This is the first course of the SOCAN’s Master Climate protector that is open to the public. Individuals sign up for a 10-week course (3 hours per week) that explores climate change science and the impacts on key sectors of energy, transportation, agriculture, water and others. Within each sector is a focus on global and local impacts, personal and collective mitigating actions and measurements on how to reduce your greenhouse gas footprint.
Expectations
Participants are expected to attend all sessions and are encouraged to complete the service component (20 hours) to become Certified Master Climate Protectors.
Charge for Fall 2017 program
Participant charge $100 each (scholarships available upon request)
