A member of the SOCAN Candidate Forum Organizing Team will visit the Jefferson Exchange to discuss the forthcoming candidate forums at the Medford Public Library on October 4th and 18th.

For October 4th candidates have been invited who seek to fill Jackson County Board of Commissioners, Positions 1 and 3, and Congressional District 2 Representative.

For October 18th candidates have been invited who seek to serve in the Oregon State House and Senate, House Districts 4, 5, 6, and 56, and Senate District 3.

The forum topics will be Climate and Environment.  Each forum will include questions from SOCAN and from the audience and will be followed by a short ‘meet and greet’ with those candidates agreeing to stay for an opportunity to meet voters.

Both events will be moderated by Liz Olson.

The Jefferson Exchange airs weekdays from 8:00 – 10:00 and is re-broadcast at 8:00 pm in the evening.
