Interfaith Work on Climate Change
Presentation by Cherice Bock, Creation Justice Advocate, Ecumenical Ministries of Oregon AND Oregon Interfaith Power & Light
All over the country, faith communities are increasingly getting involved in climate action. These efforts are varied, ranging from concerted efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to providing support to frontline communities, framed from an ethical or spiritual perspective. Come HEAR an overview of faith-based climate action underway in Oregon and elsewhere, AND discuss how Southern Oregon climate activists may help stimulate additional faith-based action in our region.
