The Climate Challenge: Federal and State Perspectives

The program will feature an exploration of the opportunities and obstacles to climate action at the federal level and a discussion of potential legislative proposals forthcoming at the state level.  We are inviting representatives of our federal reps (Merkley, Wyden, Walden) to join us for the Federal discussion and will review what seems to be on the docket for the Oregon Legislative session starting in Salem February 1st.  Anyone concerned about promoting federal or state action on climate change is encouraged to join us; we plan to have concrete actions for attendees to undertake.
