Mastering the Art of Difficult Conversations

January 21 @ 2:30 pm - 5:30 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every week that begins at 2:30 pm on Saturday, repeating until January 21, 2023

On many occasions, participants in SOCAN activities have indicated a desire to develop their ability to talk about climate issues with friends and family members who have different points of view. This two-part workshop has been scheduled as a way to provide help with this issue. We are very pleased to be able to offer this opportunity.

Warren Kahn, senior trainer for the More To Life international educational non-profit foundation is bringing decades of experience to our SOCAN community in hopes of helping us be able to converse with anyone including those with very different points of view so we can help bridge the political and environmental divide and find common ground for what is needed to care for our planet and beyond.  (Normally a $350 cost/person but he is offering it to us for free)

Warren has developed this two-part workshop; participants are expected to attend both sessions.

  • Session 1: January 14 from 2:30-5:30
  • Session 2: January 21 from 2:30-5:30
