Join us for an excursion to the capital in Salem to rally and visit our representatives to promote the Clean Energy Jobs bill. If you are interested in joining us for the trip, please complete this SOCAN Salem Rally & Lobby Day form. Additional information will be posted as available.
We (SOCAN) plan to reimburse those driving cars for the car-pool and to buy carbon offsets to defray the emissions resulting from the excursion. Meeting locations will be Fred Meyer Parking lot on Center in SD. Medford, and the Walmart Parking lot on Hwy 199 Grants Pass.
We will car-pool from Southern Oregon (gathering times/locations to be determined); SOCAN will reimburse gasoline costs and purchase carbon offsets to cover the GHG emissions. Since the drive time is about 4:30, this will be in the 5:00 – 5:30 am range (Brrrr!).
