Senator Jeff Golden is providing an opportunity for residents of District 3 (Medford, Phoenix, Talent, Ashland, Jacksonville, Ruch and the Applegate Valley) to attend a Town Hall meeting in Applegate.

Attendees will be able to meet the senator and ask him about topics of interest as well as specific upcoming legislation or regulation.

As Senator Golden states on his website, “ ‘Represent’ is the key word.  I’ll do that well only if I have your ideas, insights, and encouragement.”

Applegate Town Hall with Senator Golden will be held on Wednesday, October 16, from 6 – 8 pm, at Applegate River Lodge, 15100 Highway 238, Applegate, Oregon. Coffee and homemade cookies will be provided.

The Town Hall is hosted by the Applegater Newsmagazine, which is celebrating its 25th year in publication. Written by community members, the nonprofit Applegater is mailed free to all residents of the Applegate Valley (13,000 circulation) each quarter and is funded solely by donations and advertising revenue.
