The previous Oregon tax credit for solar installation expired in 2017.  HB2618 would reinstate an incentive for domestic and commercial solar installation as a rebate rather than a credit – a mechanism that allows the benefits to return to those who pay little or no Oregon tax.   The Oregon Solar Energy Industries Association (OSEIA) is organizing a Lobby Day in Salem to support this bill.
