The Joint Committee on Carbon Reduction was in Medford on February 23 to hear local testimony on HB2020, the bill to establish an Oregon Climate Action Program.  This is the 2019 version of the Clean Energy Jobs Bill that we have been promoting for a couple of years to cap statewide greenhouse gas emissions.

A large number of Southern Oregonians attended and provided oral testimony. BUT written testimony can still be submitted. Anyone can submit written testimony, even if you presented oral testimony.

Submit written testimony via the committee link: jccr.exhibits@oregonlegislature.gov . This can be body of email or an attachment. There is no limit on the length of these, but short and succinct is probably better given legislator or staff time availability to read.
