Eat Locally to Fight Greenhouse Gas Pollution
Agriculture’s estimated share of greenhouse gas pollution recently doubled from 20% to 40% of the world’s total emissions. The increase reflected the inclusion of the full life cycle of food production, distribution, consumption, and waste.
Our speaker this month is Kathleen Dickson, Founder and Owner of OtterBee’s Market and a confirmed Locavore.
Join us as Kathleen covers why we choose to eat what we do and why eating ‘local foods’ can add not only to your health, but the health of the planet as well.
Join us in person at SWOCC Curry Campus.
We will also broadcast via Zoom –
