Climate Science for the non-scientist: 1 Why Are We Warming?

Jackson County Library Service, Medford Branch is offering a short presentation series available via ZOOM with SOCAN Co-Facilitator Alan Journet.  The first session, entitled: ‘Why Are We Warming?’ will explore the basics of global warming, why we think the climate models are credible, and what patterns the global and Oregon climate trends and projections suggest.  No prior science should be necessary.

The  second sessions on July 21st at the same time, will consider “Rogue Valley climate trends and projections, and why we care.”

The third session at the same time on August 18th will consider “What we can do individually and collectively to address the climate crisis.”
