A presentation by Alan Journet at the Jackson County Democratic Party monthly Central Committee meeting at the Southern Oregon Education Association Building on S. Pacific Highway.  The presentation will explore why we should not focus on carbon when addressing climate change problems but should refer to greenhouse gas emissions or, if seeking a less ‘wonky’ technical terms ‘climate pollution.’  The presentation will include a brief update on the status of comprehensive greenhouse gas emissions reduction proposals in the 2017 Oregon Legislative Session.
