
Collaborative Conservation: What Successful Forest Restoration Can Teach Us About Climate Action

In 2003, a small group of adversaries started talking face-to-face about sustainable national forest management in eastern Oregon. Following the science, the Blue Mountains Forest Partners has restored almost a half million acres of the Malheur National Forest, retained the only wood processing infrastructure in the region, and brought relative peace to the war in the woods.
