The Climate Energy Action Plan (CEAP) will be presented to Council, Council gets to ask questions and this helps CEAP to know what needs more clarification as we go into the process of finalizing the plan for formal presentation in about a month.

The CEAP is recommending that the proposed  ordinance be adopted at the same time as the CEAP plan.  It is important that the city adopt the ordinance. An ordinance is more formal and authoritative than a resolution. An ordinance is a  law and will give more  force to the plan-so it won’t be watered down or neglected-or put on a shelf.
