2023 4th of July

July 4

Join us for the fun as SOCAN activists and friends march in the July 4th Parade and at our booth in Lithia Park.

From Catie Faryl,

Please help us make signs for climate action/solutions for Ashland’s 4th of July Parade.  We have reserved Bellview Grange for Sunday July 2 from 1:30 til 5 pm which is at 1050 Tolman Creek Road in Ashland.   We will have paint and sign materials there for you to help.
We’d like to have many climate groups and individuals marching with SOCAN this year.  Denise Krause, just elected to the Transit District, would appreciate help with her idea for signs related to “Take the Bus”.  If you have a favorite solution, come out and make a sign to be carried in the parade.  We can leave the signs at the Grange and pick them up prior to going the parade staging area (SOU parking lot on Mountain Ave) by 9 am to meet up with SOCAN.  If you are marching in the parade with SOCAN on the 4th, please park on the side of the campus away from downtown and look for the orange t-shirt folks to meet before the parade.
For more info please call me at 541 530-8454.  Thanks and hope to see you at BVG on Sunday July 2!
Sincerely, Catie Faryl
