A free workshop that will give you
and your faith community tools to
advocate for strong climate policies at the state level.
You will learn about and act on climate-friendly policies for transportation and carbon pricing going through the Oregon legislature this year, and gather long-term tools to engage in faithful and effective climate advocacy.
RSVP is kindly requested but not required at tinyurl.com/zymtd9r, where you can also sign up to volunteer, or receive help with transportation if available.
With further questions, please contact EMO Public Policy Director Britt Conroy, bconroy@emoregon.org, at 541-602-2050.

NOTE: The Oregon legislation that we seek is a comprehensive greenhouse gas emissions reduction bill. The goal is not carbon pricing since a focus just on carbon results in promoting natural gas, fracking, and fugitive emissions of methane. Natural gas is as bad or potentially worse than coal.
