2024 Presidential Election and Climate

As climate activists, we are often asked: “What is the single most important thing I can do? Much of the time this is a difficult question to answer, but during an election year, the answer is easy: ‘Research the candidates for all levels on the ballot and vote for those who are climate conscious, climate concerned, and commit to taking action to address the climate crisis within the jurisdiction of the office to which they seek election.’

Because Southern Oregon Climate Action Now is a 501(C) 3 non-profit, we are precluded from endorsing candidates.  We can, however, provide pointers as to where interested visitors to our website might find information to educate themselves on where candidates stand.  In the case of the very critical Presidential election, we offer the following links:
